This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG TRUE CLEAR with RUBY STAIN  "O'HARA DIAMOND"  ROUND COVERED BUTTER DISH.
This Early American Pattern Glass covered butter dish is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass;   This EAPG "O'HARA DIAMOND" butter dish that I have here is a TRUE ruby stained "O'HARA DIAMOND" covered butter dish, which means that both the top and the butter bottom is ruby stained, this butter dish is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;

EAPG TRUE CLEAR with RUBY STAIN  "O'HARA DIAMOND" covered butter dish is an early vintage antique glass covered butter dish that has been used and displayed over many years and still is a very beautiful "O'HARA DIAMOND" covered butter dish, my numerous photos do show that the top and the bottom of the ruby staining does have white specks through out, but all in all, this is a beauty from the top finial to the ruffled wavy butter base, I enjoy photographing my glass to sell as you can see;   I may also add that this true ruby stained "O'HARA DIAMOND" butter dish that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG that was produced during this time era of the glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles inside this glass butter dish, top and bottom, and these characteristics are from the production of this butter dish and is NOT considered damage;   This large and much sought after "O'HARA DIAMOND" pattern can be seen in one of my many reference materials, the ruby stained "bible" by, "Mr. William Heacock"  the "Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass  Book #7, Ruby-Stained glass From A  - Z ", talk and show this much sought after "O'HARA DIAMOND" pattern in the ruby stained bible on pages #32 and #163;   I may mention that in the many beautiful ruby stained photo shots in this "O'HARA DIAMOND" pattern, the butter base in the book is not ruby stained;   Mr. Heacock says that this non -flint "O'HARA DIAMOND" pattern was produced by the "U.S. GlassCompany around 1904";   Numerous (all) photos were taken outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show pattern, condition, ruby stain condition & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost of the shipping is .25 and the cost of insurance is .75.   All stickers on MY EAPG true clear w/ruby stain  "O'HARA DIAMOND"  round covered butter dish sent to you must remain on MY
